Wife Killed right after Court Order
A man is accused of stabbing his 24 year old wife to death front of her mother and two boys has been jailed for life in British court. The man was shouting abuse at her family as he was taken away.
Hajrudin Hasanovic, who convicted of the murder generally in a West Sussex Court, but he was shouted at his former wife’s devastated family and friends while he was taken to the jail,
“My children will never forgive you for what you have done to me and Cassie. . .you killed her. You are bastards all of you.”
It is assumed that after the court had told him that he lost the custody battle and was being deported, he dragged her out of the car and stabbed a large kitchen knife in to Mrs. Hasanovic’s chest as her mother was driving her with her two sons to the women’s refuge in Bognor Regis, West Sussex, on July 29 last year.
The dreadful tale begins when 24 year old mother Cassandra Hasanovic, who wanted refuge from her violent husband in Australia but was refused extended during a three-week trial. Lewes Crown Court heard that the couple’s relationship broken in May 2007 after Hajrudin Hasanovic, 33, was arrested and freed on bail on suspicion of sexually attacking his wife.
Mrs. Hasanovic made number of statements to the police in Australia and in the UK pointing the threatening behavior of his husband. In one statement she said,
“I am genuinely scared for my children and my own safety and feel that they would be in danger if they were near Harry.”
However, Hajrudin Hasanovic denies murder but admits manslaughter on the grounds of diminished responsibility.
